Hi Dave & Joe, I finally got it figured out. It doesn't matter where I pasted .theme file, just press enter and it automatically goes to the Display properties, puts the new file in the list, and you go to okay, press enter and the new file is entered into the theme's list. Thanks again, for all of your help. Take care. Pressing the save button brings up a typical file save dialog so you can note where your themes are being saved by default. You can, of course, change the location but it is more convenient to keep the default location. 2. .theme is indeed the correct file extension 3. After you copy your theme to the new computer's default location, just click on the file name. On both my XP and my VISTA computers, clicking the file opens the display dialog and puts the file name in the name field of the theme page. All you need to do then is click the OK button and the new theme is applied. Hope this helps. I believe that somehow I was able to copy it and it is in My Documents listed as "Barbara.Theme". Is "Theme" the correct file extension for a theme file? If not what file extension do theme files use? Where exactly are theme files stored? I have looked in the Windows folder on the C Drive and don't see anything with a "theme" extension. I haven't been able to find any way of exporting this file so, this is why I'm trying to copy & paste so we can take this theme file to another computer. Someone had mentioned that opening this theme file in Windows Explorer would allow us to move this file. I don't understand what they meant by opening with Windows Explorer. Could someone please explain in detail what this means? All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks much, take care. Mike
