Yes you can just follow the steps and when you name the list, then tab to add
members button and hit enter, then tab until you are
in your list box of address from your contact list and then hold down the shift
key and errow down the list to slect all names, you
will hear each name as it is selected. Then when you get all the names selected
tab to members button and hit enter then tab to ok
and hit enter.

Is there a way I do not have to add each contact, one at a time to the
distribution list?

I have over 50 and was looking for a quick way to get them all in a
distribution list.

Thanks,

Bill

1. On the File menu, point to New, and then click Distribution List.

2. In the Name box, type a name.

3. Click Select Members.

4. In the Show names from the list, click the address book that contains the
e-mail addresses you want in your distribution list.

5. In the Type name or select from list box, type a name you want to include.
In the list below, select the name, and then click
Members. Do this for each

person you want to add to the distribution list, and then click OK. If you want
to add a longer description of the distribution
list, click the Notes tab,

and then type the text.

The distribution list is saved in your Contacts folder by the name you give it.

Subject: Creating distribution list from all contacts- Outlook 2003

Hello,

How can I create a distribution list from all of my contacts in Outlook 2003?

In my contact list I have many contacts and a couple of distribution lists. I
do not want the distribution lists I already have to
be included in my new distribution list I create. I am using Outlook 2003
with Jaws 9.

How can I do this? Then when I add more contacts later I can add them manually
to my larger distribution list. I do not want to
send an email directly to my contacts; because I do not want to expose my
contacts email addresses.

Thanks for your help.
