I always wondered that myself. Is there actually a blind underground network out there somewhere that is selling pirated copies of screen readers in back alleys? I wonder what the cost of developing and maintaining the ILM is versus the potential loss of revenue due to piracy when you factor in all the costs of tech support for people having problems with the new copy protection scheme.
