you could be right, and I don't want to incriminate myself... but in
reality, how many of us are running programs "borrowed" from somebody else.
hmm, pay 600 dollars or install it for free? What would the majority of
people you know do?

This is sort of like the FBI and their Chicken Little "The Sky is Falling"
routines.
Very few Software Companies have any form of Copyright protection, it
generally cost them more money to implemtnt and monitor, than they might
lose in Copyright infringements!
Many of the different News Agencies say that most of any Copyright
infringement is done out side the USA.
There is of course no information or facts about how much copying of
programs go on and no statistics to base this argument on, so all of this is
just Conjecture with no facts!
