I have never heard of this command either. I checked in the key discription section of JAWS and alt plus L is used for changing all words to the suggested word while spell checking a document. I tried to use this key combination to simulate a left mouse click and it did not work. Normally, pressing enter or / on the numpad is the same as left clicking on something. Pressing * on the numpad or shift F10 is the same as right clicking on something. ----- Original Message ----- From: Alan Clendinen To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, December 15, 2009 12:51 PM Subject: re: Connecting to WIFI with JAWS Chris, Hmm...I've never heard of doing a Alt + L command to simulate a left-mouse button. Is this keyboard combination something peculiar to a laptop keyboard configuration? If so, how would you do it with a laptop which has a full-size keyboard, including a numeric keypad, which permits using the desktop keyboard setting? Alan Chris wrote: 1. In the list of system tray icons, arrow to the network icon. It should say, in the very least, "Not connected wireless networks available". 2. Press alt+l to activate the left mouse click button. The connect to menu appears. 3. Down arrow to the wireless network name, then right arrow to open the "submenu", and enter on connect. Hope this helps.
