Judith,

I don't know about the security package that Verizon has. Often, though, they attempt to sell a package which is contained in their own browser. The SBC browser is not very workable with JFW, and you can do without it.

My feeling here is you don't need their security package. It doesn't do anything that you can't do with a good anti-virus program, a anti-spam program and/or a firewall on your own. Again, desptie what they may tell you, you should be able to install the DSL without their software.

As for switching identities and/or setting up multiple e-mail accounts, yes you can do this with DSL.

Subject: 2 dsl questions

1. I'm looking into getting dsl through my local phone company, verizon. They offer a security package through MSN and I was wondering if this package is compatible with jaws.
2. When you are using dsl can you just change to another identity as you can with dial up?
Thanks, Judith
