I found the applicable entries in the .jcf file stored under \users\<user name\appdata\roaming\freedom Scientific\jaws\<version\settings\<lang>\<program>.jcf There is also a jcf in the \ProgramData\Freedom Scientific\JAWS\<version>\Settings\<lang> \<program>.jcf but that does not have the voice profile entries. (makes sense that those would be stored on a per-user basis) Note that these are the win7 (and I think vista) paths, if you are still on winxp, they'll be similar but under \documents and settings instead of under \users and \ProgramData. On my system, <version> is 13.0 and <lang> is enu, For your needs <program> will probably be wordpad but you might have to look around a bit, check config-names.ini if you have trouble locating the correct file. Get rid of the [Voice Profiles] section and the lines that begin with Active= and ActiveVoiceProfileName= and save the file. That will restore the program to using whatever your default voice configuration is and you can then change it to something else if you like.
