HI Soronel.

Thanks so much for this response Soronel.
that was awesome. I have located the App.jcf file in question, and the
relevant active voice profile number/name in there,
 thanks to your pointers.

Also, just for anyone else's knowledge who may wish to know, I actually also
ran across the entire file detailing
all the actual voiceProfile settings, including voice aliuses, and a list of
which number was assigned to which profile as well,
and also, which synthesizer/voice within that synthesizer, various jaws
speaking contexts are associated with.
It also details, under a section called,
[Voice Profiles]
the list of voiceProfiles one has, with associated numbers tagged to each
one.

It's all in a file called VoiceProfiles.ini, and it seems to reside one
level back from the language folder, thus under settings, in one's user
profile area. under documents and settings path in xp.
Thanks again Soronel.

Geoff c.
