Hmmm. you obviously must've also tried single/multiple pause statements between the Say (StrText) and the resetting of the voice profile, have you? like: SetActiveVoiceProfileByName ("Carmen2") SayString(sTrText) Pause () Pause () ; varying amounts of these.
