Rashmi,

Just to check that we are not talking at cross purposes... Can you
confirm that the file list you are talking about is the same list of
files in each case or are you getting different results in different
folders?

The reason I ask is because you can set Windows to retain settings for
each folder. If you've got Windows set up like this, you will need to
either set the View settings in each folder you open or you will need to
follow the process below to set the folder settings to be the same in
every folder.

To set folder settings to be the same in every folder do the following:

1. Go to Windows Explorer (or My Computer).
2. Select the view setting that you prefer to use e.g. List or Details.
3. Press Alt+T to open the Tools menu.
4. Press Up arrow to go to the "Folder Options" menu option and press
Enter to select it.
5. In the following multi tab dialogue box, press Control+Tab to go to
the "View" tab. This should leave you on the "Apply to all folders"
button.
6. Press Enter and then again to confirm.

This should mean that all folders opened from then on are viewed in the
same way.

Hope this helps.

Jamie

Jamie

Although it worked after selecting list and details, coming out and
going
back, goes back to normal as the list remains selected and only reading
25
files and then stops even there are more files to read. Please help.
