Thanks Chris, I don't use webbie, as I had heard not all programmes were available on there, so decided not to use this. Just to add to my original mesage, I have tonight been on the Radio Six International site at: www.radiosix.com On there, there is a listen button or alternatively, you can listen to the station via realplayer, windows media player or winamp and I think there are sevearl others too. I managed to get the realplayer link to work but when I tried the listen button on the homepage, I once again got that update mesage, or something along those lines. When I tried the listen button again, the audio started. so, do I need to update Adobe as well? I did get an automatic adobe update mesage recently and whilst I have tended to struggle with such updates, I think I managed to cary out the update last time it came up. Also, how do i know waht programmes use flash. Thanks again for your response. Paull. ----- Original Message ----- From: "chris miles" <grrenfly@xxxxxxx> To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, November 22, 2013 10:17 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: probelms accessing bBC live and listen again : On 21/11/2013 19:35, Paul Roberts wrote: : > Hi all, : > : > Firstly, apologies for cross posting but given the nature of my query, I : > wish to reach as many on both lists as is possible. : > : > I am a regular user of BBC Iplayer and mainly listen again and I listen live : > to at least one BBC local station each week, namely BBC Radio Kent. : > : > In addition to the BBC sites, I also regularly listn to roger day's Uncool : > Radio at: : > www.rogerday.co.uk : > : > In recent weeks, whenever I go to the listen live links of radio Kent or : > roger Day's site, I get a mesage teling me to update my media player.
