I see Thanks George but why was it short lived? I have only ever had Xp and
was wondering why I do not hear it mentioned. can I buy something a bit
better? I don't need the latest but something better. In word I have finally
found a way to get rid of what sounds like a tea lady coming in, seems she
is the office assistant, does that come with all versions? Thanks Dorothy

Office 2002 was in fact more commonly known as "Office XP", but was
rather short lived.

Just for the record Office 2000 was released of the autumn of 1999.
The
support in Office 2000 offered has not been updated for quite a while
now in JAWS as newer verions of Office have ensued. My suggestion
would
be that they either upgrade to Office 2003 or also put on JAWS 7.0 or
7.10 which should work fine with Office 2000. Both copies of JAWS
will
be able to share the same authorisation.
