Hi Sue

Have you tried going into jaws vobosity whilst word open, by pressing inset +f2
and then curser down until you come to superscript and press spacebar and do
same until you come accross superscript and press again spacebar. save the
setting then check if happens the same.

  Hi Tris.

I'm still having the same problem with Jaws announcing subscript and
superscript within word. I've done what you suggested. I've even deleted
subscript and superscript from the list of attributes and Jaws is still saying
it. I've made sure that the settings are saved. Do you have any other
suggestions?

  Sue.

Press insert+F2 from witin Word and choose "configuration manager" and then
go and check that you have the "classic {modified scheme) selected, if so then
check the scheme to ensure your changes were made, you may have forgotton to
save modifications to the scheme, the trick usually works fine.

    List,

As discussed in the list recently, I have changed the default configuration
manager to ignore sub and super scripts. However, these are still being
announced in Microsoft Word.

Can anyone suggest why this might be?

I am using Jaws 9, Windows XP and Word 2000.

    Many thanks,

    Ken
