KeithI'm assuming that the number you quoted below is the Word version number. If so it would seem that you don't have the latest Word updates including the Service packs. I would think that updating Word would do no harm and will probably help the situation. My version is:

Hi Peter, I am using Office 2000, also. However, when I ask Jaws for the version of Word, it says 9.0.2717.Even with the update to Jaws 9, I still can't bring up the PC cursor when Ido a Save As. One of the fixes in this update was to the Save As in Word 2000. So, either I haven't got Word 2000, or the fix hasn't worked for me. Could you confirm things your end please? Best wishes, Keith the version of Word -----Original Message-----From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] OnBehalf Of Peter Bentley Sent: 31 January 2008 10:46 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: Problem with version 9 Hello David I have Office 2000 and have no problem. I am told the document shows up on the screen, but Jaws will not read it. Any ideas? Thanks.
