David,

I'm given to understand Libra is a Citrix based application which means that
the information isn't text based but is held as an image on the server. I'm

unable to try Libra with Jaws at work as firstly all the user licences have
been allocated so they've refused me any access. Secondly the Libra package

is a UK wide application hosted on the CPS server and where I work we don't
have access to it for test purposes as where I work we only access it for
court

case results. So unless you are with the CPS gaining permission to get
something like access software put on to their server might be difficult.
You

know how they are always full of excuses like they're concerned that access
software might either be a security risk or, cause their precious package to

not work correctly. Absolute bullshit. So if you're given this tale then
take them to a court case for discrimination. I've had experience of
working

for government departments in other countries and they treat their employees
very well but here in the UK government departments despite saying they're

an equal opportunities employer they do the bear minimum when it comes to
making reasonable adjustments just so that they can say they're within the
law

so that if a disabled employee takes them to a court case or arbitration
they can say they've done what's necessary that way getting out of their
proper

responsibilities and still being whiter than white. Despite DDA legislation
this happens time and time again.

access technology

Hi Folks,

Apologies for the cross posting. Can anyone using Jaws and working
in the law field please contact me. I need advice regarding software
which my employer uses and whether or not jaws will be compatible with this
software program.

Apologies once again.

Regards.

Matty.
