Hi Hazel,

If you find your way into your jaws folder, to the settings, enu folder,
you'll see it contains over a thousand files, ending in .jcf, .jss, .jsb
and stuff like that. Scripts, are actually additional files which are
placed in here, and enhance jaws a little bit more so it can use certain
software.=20

If you haven't managed to place the script files in here, then jfw won't
work well with the programmes you're trying to use, either that, or you
have script files that don't match your jfw 6.1 version.

There are jaws scriptors on this list who might explain the concept a
bit better than me, so hopefully they will come to your rescue.

Again, do you know if you were able to open the .zip file and save the
script files to this destination mentioned?

R.

I am using JAWS 6.1 and windows exp home. and am having difficulty with
accessing other software applications. Someone told me that JAWS could
access these programmes using scripts! But no one seems to know
anything of how these scripts are supposed to work. I have just got the
organisation I am working for to order a new copy of JAWS andI was
wondering if I am going to face the same problems with this new copy
too. =20
