Hi Val,
It sounds as though you have the speak indented characters setting checked in
the default settings.
To get to the default settings to check this:
press JawsKey+6 on the top row then hit control+shift+d.
The setting you need to check is in the text processing tab and is called
"speak indented characters". This is a check box which you need to have
unchecked.
When you have finished making your changes, tab to ok and press enter.
Now hit alt+f4 and answer y when asked if you wish to save changes.
Note: It is also possible to make all of these settings in individual
application configurations.

Help wanted! I can't find the command in Configuration Manager to turn off
the indentation feature. It is driving me mad because, despite my searching, I
can't remember where it is. I have to physically stop it temporarily on both
the HTML and Outlook programme in the Verbosity settings. Save my sanity
someone please!
