I found it next to impossible to get VPN going on ARM linux, although I may only have been a kernel rebuild away. I finally managed to get my Iyonix onto the work network via Windows with the VPN network connection 'shared for other users' i.e. Windows was routing the VPN connection onto my local network. I think I may have had to reset the IP address of my router as windows only likes to share an internet connection on 192.168.1.1. Also setting up the network on the Iyonix was a bit less than automatic, but once I'd got the nameservers etc. sorted out I could save them. Eventually I could connect to the IMAP server at work and use Messenger Pro, although it was a bit slow to update the mailboxes. As to ShareFS access, I didn't get the impression the question was really about this, but the changes I made to get it working across subnets would be essential. -- Dan Ellis --- To alter your preferences or leave the group, visit //www.freelists.org/list/iyonix-support Other info via //www.freelists.org/webpage/iyonix-support
