When I understand the afoermentioned posting form c.s.a.networking correct, it's about supporting subnets in ShareFS. Well according to http://www.iyonix.com/iyonix/features/503notes.shtml RISC OS 5 ShareFS works across subnets - opposed to RISC OS 4.xx.
