Hi Shawn,
I right clicked on the ISA server and went to the properties, then security
tab, I added my name, but the administrators were there, which I am a member
of. Still did not work. Am I going to the right location?

Sorry, my fault. Should be dcomcnfg (with the n). Go to the Default
Security tab, click the button under Default Access Permissions and add your
account if it's not there. That should fix your problem.

Go onto the ISA server and run dcomcfg (DCOM configuration). Make sure your
account has the necessary security privileges to run dcom applications. I
think there's an article on isaserver.org about this somewhere.

I have XP Pro with SP1. I have a MMC with Exchange, WINS, DHCP, AD,
etc.. on it.
I would like to add ISA management as a snap in. When I go to add it,
it asks me where is the server.
I give it the name, it sees the server, but when I click OK, I get an
ISA error;
"You do not have the necessary permission to perform this action. Failed
to connect."
My user name has administrator rights. I can log into the servers and
do anything I want.
Any ideas?
