Hi John, You can still use a Server Publishing Rule to publish your FTP servers. Works the same was as ISA Server 2000. Yes, I have Tom's book http://www.ISAserver.org Tom, You'd think I could have figured it out though. Oh well, I didn't. I think I am in a bind now. If internet users can NOT upload files to my internal servers via a FTP web pub rule I am hosed. Here is why. If I use a web pub rule for IP 24.5.3.1, creating a listner for it, and pointing it to my internal server named web25, THEN I can not use the same IP to do FTP SERVER publishing to the same server (because that IP is configured in a listner). That means I use up two public IP's for every web/ftp server I have. In ISA 2k, using server pub, I could simply publish port 80/443/21 all to the same IP. Granted it was less secure than web publishing, but I could utilize an IP to the fullest. Do you think I am missing something here? Probably. Thanks so much for your patience and help -John Now I wonder if I am not better off trying to get server pub working ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: tshinder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
