Hi John, No apologies. Its my bad in that my design goal for the book was to make things so clear that you would need to experience with the ISA firewall to understand what I was saying. I've put a note in my article list to write something on ISAserver.org to discuss this subject and hopefully improve on my explanation. You can use Web Publishing Rules to publish FTP sites, but remember that you can only *download* using this method. If that's OK, you're good to go. You won't change the listener port, you will still accept incoming connections on either 80 or 443. Then the ISA firewall performs protocol redirection based on the Web Publishing Rule settings. Yes, I have Tom's book http://www.ISAserver.org Tom, Thanks, sorry for the obvious not appearing to me. That is what I'll do. One last favor, if you have time. I will do my FTP via web pub as well just to prevent Server Publishing, but I have had some difficulty getting that to work. When creating the listener do I simply change the HTTP port to 21 and let it go?
