The only problem with NetGear that I've noticed is that they reduce your
bandwidth. Keep an eye on the processing power.

Maybe not that low, but if you're looking for good pricing, a Dlink or
the Netgear that Tim referred to is more than enough. No reason to pay a
premium for "hardware" firewall names.

What is the primary deployment scenario? Just outbound access and
protection from the external bad guys?

BTW -- Dlink has this which isn't too bad:

And much better priced than a Watchguard. Oh, it runs Check Point ;)

BTW -- I'm not a Dlink reseller or anything, I just have had good
experience with these devices. I wouldn't use them for corporate
security, but for the scenario I imagine you're working with, these
types of devices are good enough.
