I went to set up Intrusion Detection Alerts, intending that it should send an email to my pager. No matter what I do it will not connect to the mail server I specify. DNS is right, and I can ping that server by name (it is outside of ISA). I have relay rights through that server - its logs show no connection attempts from the ISA IP. I set up the fake Identd server (from ISA CD), and made sure that Identd & SMTP were allowed through ISA. Still no go. Anyone ?? What have I missed here ?
