True, and that is why there are only two of us able to access that box
to even see the menus, and the other guy won't make a change without
checking with me.

Oh, I made a mistake earlier, I forgot about the template wizard. It
does take more than a couple of clicks to mess up your configuration...

There's a basic rule - if the user is an administrator, you can't stop
them.

If you give someone access to your production machine and they start
"playing around" with it, they need a severe beating.

I always thought the template was for initial setup only, not used for
anything other than a pretty graphic once your networks are setup.

Using that line of reasoning, I don't see any reason why you couldn't
use the Single NIC template and then add additional networks
afterwards... The picture might not match your layout, but who cares?
(Heck, mine shows a three-leg network when I have five!)

Actually, this seems like a dangerous feature (to me, anyways) in that
someone could click on a template and promptly wipe out your whole
setup. Too much happens with only two-three clicks.

Hi Alex,

No, but you don't need to use that template. You just need to remove the
addresses used for the intra-array network from the definition of the
default Internal Network.

        Hi Tom:

I'm with you. But if I am using Single Nic template can I have
2 NIC's on the box?

        Alex
