Dan, I believe that you have been answered. As Jim pointed out it is not possible, even with "third party" products, if we are talking about doing it on the ISA server. Both Jim & Tom spend untold hours answering questions from everyone on this list. I have always found them to be very friendly & helpful, as have many (if not most) of the people who are on this list. Two points - you catch more flies with honey; and don't bite the hand that feeds you (information). Can you state anything other than the obvious? I asked a simple question to those seasoned ISA users based on Jim Harrison's statement: "ISA doesn't provide a method to define the source IP for outbound traffic." And my question was "Is there anyway around this without involving third-party products?" And here we are, you and Jim Harrison are getting all defensive about ISA as if it was your own baby. Step away from your computer and go for a walk, guys. ...D ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: pen@xxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
