Hi,
Do you know what download speeds the students or
people in rural places get?
Pathetic, agreed. The same might be of their exposure to "podcasts".
So, the target audience cannot yet be internet-dependant ppl in
rural/township areas.
On the other hand ,most of the colleges have decent internet
connections(i believe). So, any introduction at college meets can push
the word through and without too many internet woes.
Your idea of having speeches recorded is good. But,
the methodology to spread it would be to burn it in
CDs, and courier it to towns/rural villages.
If you have to particularly target the not-so-connected sector, yes.
On the other hand there are so many ppl in the cities, maybe
subscribers of tech podcasts and maybe without too much exposure to
linux. (I know quite a bunch like that!). The idea can atleast impress
upon them, can't it?
