[Ilugc] internet speed issues with ubuntu

You might be right. The built in nic does not work in my laptop (Vaio) and
am using a USB-ethernet adapter currently. Also this could be the reason why
very few are facing similar problems! What really stumped me was that it
works well when booted off a live CD but not from the resident OS!!
Anyway, those who have similar problems can try this out and maybe their
problems are resolved!
Only now am able to watch youtube seamlessly :-)
