Nonsense. Don't talk about things you know nothing about. The C
standard -mandates- that the sizeof operator return an object of type
size_t.
Oops! Binand, you are wrong. Check the man page of setsockopt(2).
I am pretty sure Binand is right there... sizeof has to return a size_t.
