Yep, and that also vindicates his routing table.
3. In browser settings, set it to direct connection to
the Internet.
He has tried two browsers, so I'm inclined to think that there might
be a firewall somewhere blocking his port 80 traffic.
I have found tcptraceroute -
http://michael.toren.net/code/tcptraceroute/ - to be an invaluable
tool for troubleshooting these kind of issues.
