+1 People in the Head of the department mostly not affable and would
try to show their fist on student. If the curriculum state that it is
a subject related to just Visual Basic that is something which need to
be addressed. Can NRCFOSS take steps update it? A paper about building
GUI application makes more sense to me rather than confining to just
Visual Basic. My advice to student is don't try argue any more to the
HOD you might probably end up reappearing for the subject. If your
interest/passion drives you no one can stop you building the
application in whatever framework/language you wanted but take that as
your free time work.
