No, that just makes it even worse.
Not everyone has GMail and not everyone can refer to old mails just to follow
a discussion.
Imagine a thread with more than 100 posts.Do you want a person to refer to
100 mails just to find out who has posted what, on a particular topic.
There is no specific "ilugc list-ettiquette", we just follow rules that have
been laid down to make e-mail easier to read.
