Hello Gary.

To make it working, you have to go in Setup of Project Manager, then on
Expansion tab, select Physical Layout.
I am not sure if you need to re-package (we use it for a long time.)
cfg_package is our default.
But It seems to be logical to package again.
It will probably create the cfg_package in worklib/project directory.

I hope it is all needed to do it working.
As far as i can remind, if the expansion is on vhdl_package, Concept-Allegro
interactivity won't work.

It works for place manually, show elements, move, delete...

    William.

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] ConceptHDL to Allegro parts placement

  Hey guys,

So I have the dual monitor thing going. I've heard that if you have both
Concept and Allegro open through Program Manager, you can select a component in
Concept, then place it in Allegro.

Does anybody know what's required for this to work? I have them both open,
but can't get it to work.

  Thanks for any help!
