we are running 16.01 on xp and it is pretty stable, no major problems

Hi Mike,

I've heard, but can't confirm that v16 is now VERY stable. I am also
still using v15.7, but am being encouraged to transition to v16 now.
Guess I'll have to load it pretty soon, and get up to speed on the new
format.
