I'd like to attach it to th eunit if I can because sometimes I have
difficulty removing it from the case.
I'm incredibly carful with my braille plus.

Stacey,
Rather than using the small bar to attach the lanyard, I attached mine to
the upper left corner of the case.
The slender part above the speaker.
It is much easier to attach in this place, and if you want to grab the
strap for a more secure hold, I think it is a better placement.
