I looked all over for my original box to find the lanyard so I could maybe
give you an idea.  But, no luck finding it yet.

Just guessing though. You probably need to push the end with a loop on it
through under the teeny-tiny bar at the top-back of the Icon far enough that you can then pass the other side of the lanyard through the loop and pull it 
tight.

Could be wrong... just guessing. HTH
