Truthfully, litigating the entire IBIS spec is not what I had in mind,. Yet, I 
knew when I used 20+ hours of flight time to read through it, the difficulty 
would be in ignoring non-typo/format issues.

Regarding List_Tip, however, a simple solution is suggested below that, where 
we describe Table and Labels together. That makes sense, since they can only be 
used together. We could do the same for List and List_Tip. At this point I 
would add: ", only if someone (me) proposes the exact change and it is quickly 
approved". The truth is, I am burdened with too much other work and will put 
that off. So yes, maybe we should start a known issues document now.

Mike,

At this point, I think we should concentrate on getting IBIS 7.0 out now. This 
can be a list of things we do in IBIS 7.1 which we should limit to required  
BIRD for DDR5 (like DC_Offset) and editorial changes like you found on your 
trip and things like this.

Editors,

List_Tip is described on page 217 of the 16 Nov IBIS 7.0 
draft<https://ibis.org/editorial_wip/ver7_0_181116.docx>, within the list of 
Formats. But List_Tip is not a Format and it should be described after Format. 
Like Default, List_Tip enhances Format data, it is not the data.

If we agree, is this a change the Editorial Task Group should make now, or 
would it call for a BIRD?  I'm fine with the latter, since I have a whole list 
of improvements that could be made.
