Hi guys,
Had a bit of oddness with trying to download this map pack.
This is on a relatively fresh install of TB, since I deleted
everything once to make sure I had the right scripts and versions of
Allan's Age of Warlords map pack.
If I understand right, that means everything is up-to-date.
I found the Demon war Cycle map pack on the download section, clicked
it, and, was mildly surprised, and a bit worried that it was a near
instant download and install.
Ah well, this of course means my internet is being totally awesome tonight.
Or..
Okay, well I'll stop trying to be entertaining. grins
I went in to the map selection and alas, the map pack wasn't there. I
checked the map packs secton in the files. nothing there.
Hmm. Okay, I'll just redownload it, maybe there was an odd fluke.
Back to the download maps. cycling through.. and No Demon War Cycle.
the game says I have it, it seems, yet the game can't produce it for me.
Has anyone else ever run into this problem?
When I say that I can't find the map pack anywhere, I mean anywhere.
Not in the maps, not in any other folder I can look in.
I can't even find where the game might think or know it was downloaded
to see if I can explain to the engine that it is missing what it
thinks it has, at least on the downloading side.
