I had just finally gotten used to the "servic= e"=20 command in RH, but switched back to using init scripts after replacing=20 several of our RH 6.2 machines with Owl GNU/*/Linux. Since Owl doesn't hav= e=20 the "service" command (it didn't work properly until RH 7.something anyway)= ,=20 I got used to using the init scripts again. On a different note, does anyone know what the planned end of life is for=20 Potato (as far as support goes)? I couldn't find a definite answer on thei= r=20 web page. I see that the most recent security fixes include Potato as well= =20 (if applicable). I'm using Woody, but I'm just trying to get an idea of ho= w=20 long an old "major" release is supported after a new one comes out.
