This thread reminded me of an issue that I tried to fix about a month ago or so, with no luck. There was some type of error in the binary repositories for the Unix that I use when I previously tried to install Nano. I tried again just awhile ago an got the program Nano installed, tested it, worked just fine. It was a version issue with the "pkg_add" command calling the correct version, but the server not serving the right one. Glad they got it resolved finally. Vi works OK, but requires me to read a lot before I can even use it most of the time. Nano I'm used to. Thanks guys for reminding me that I had unfinished business with a Unix text editor.
