For me it's gedit on desktops with GUI & nano on headless systems from
serial console & ssh login.
Used to use "vim" years ago, but really never need to anymore as nano is
easier.
You really only need to know 2 commands with "nano": Save (Ctrl-o) and
exit (Ctrl-x)
