Just returned from Italy, where among other things I participated in a week long workshop. Had an interesting experience regarding H cameras. Our group had stopped along a Tuscan road to shoot a grove of the distinctive Italina Cedar trees, one that we were assured was the very one (!) that is seen in photos on cards, napkins, etc. We contributed to the oversupply. As we were getting out of the bus, we saw a mercedes SUV slowing down and pulling over. A man got out with a camera and tripod, and began toshoot. Another participant talked to the man, who was shooting an H series 'blad. He had with him what was described as every known lens and accessory. What seemed at the time as a kit measuring in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. He was an American, so it was probably more, considering the Dollar. He described himself as this: He is a lawyer based in Boston. Each spring, he spends two or three months in Tuscany shooting. He then returns to Boston, where he sells the photos. Lots of them, I hope. So, we should have gone to law school?
