Umm. OK. Maybe I am not the brightest card in the deck. Or something.
But C++ *is* hard. Certainly it is not hard to write *something*, but to
understand the complexities of mastery, I would argue that it is very hard.
Certainly more so than any other language I have learned.

I would say that one should not do so lightly. Writing a language *PACKAGE* is
a similar in scope project to writing your own OS. :-)

Some simple language is good for this sort of thing. Be it basic, perl (ugh), 
or something else. I thought that hey, with a bit more effort, could be a decent
language. Of course, ARexx was very nice, too. :-)
