I like the official logo and using Haiku’s unique icons in this.
I dunno... I prefer a more serene, classy style myself, no icons, no
tagline, just the URL haiku-os.org.
Nothing against several different designs, though...
The
tagline in this is a bit off, it just sounds strange. It might be that it
doesn’t conform to our GUI guidlines of using complete sentences (cough,
cough.. Humdinger you didn’t catch that?).
Spot on. Though I'd waive the HIG for stickers and flyers. :)
"The operating system for the desktop" or "The Operating System for the Desktop"
And I’m not sure what “for the
Desktop” really means? What are you trying to convey? For desktop users?
For the masses? For everyone? For the desktop experience?
For the desktop means the focus is not on server or mobile or embedded
side, but what used to be called the "home computer".
