OpenBeOS is being designed so that the existing BeOS applications will work on
it.

Gobe Productive does word processing, spreadsheets and vector drawing (and some
bitmap editing too) all in one program, and with fair compatability with MS
Office files. Unfortunately it hasn't been updated recently and the company
has gone out of business. There may also be some of the other open-source
office packages available for BeOS depending on porting efforts.

The main download site is http://www.bebits.com/ for everything (demos of
commercial software, shareware, freeware, etc) so you can get an idea of what's
available by looking at its categories.
