DevED 1.1 is a developer edition of BeOS based on Personal Edition. I've not
downloaded it before but I suspect that dev ed 1.1 lacks much of the software
such as games, multimedia and office apps that are included within Max Ed. I
suspect that Dev Ed is more geared toward the developer and doesn't make such
a good showcase for BeOS as Max edition does which if you're just interested
in just finding out what BeOS can do for you would be the better option.

BeOS was the inspiration, Zeta was the conclusion
Lysistrata had a good idea.
