Any news on that, Charlie?

I enabled it yesterday.

On that subject, would HSA be intrested in using the Tendenci AMS for your website, rather than using your current 'homebrew' or 'bespoke' AMS ?

Thanks for the offer but not relevant here. I just suck at being a sys-admin.

Tendenci [1] is django based, open source Association Management System
(AMS) under the GPL with its source code hosted on Github [2].

It automates the management of events, memberships and of payments (i.e.
donations/event tickets/membership fees). Plus I think it would help to
increase membership, raise the profile of the HSA and attract more people
to BeGeistert 030.

I don't see how the technology would help raise the profile. The pricing at BeGeistert is tricky so this would almost certainly have to be customised.

That said I've never had particularly great ambitions with the existing codebase. It's currently an unhappy mix of Zope/CMF and the database but it has done its job (in various forms) for nearly 20 years. I have started a port to Pyramid + SQLAlchemy which would be much more maintainable but if I could give it up entirely I'd be happy.
