No. You'll only have to escape special characters if the English
original does so. Most often that would be quotes (") etc.
Pootle flags this. It is flagged due to the order of the variables,
although they are named
explicitly differently. Is this translation okay?
Yeah, Pootle is a bit over-sensitive sometimes.
I recently added a short blurb on that at the wiki at

Also, I would like to get a login for the other translation portal
for the other
applications (BePDF etc., forgot the name of the portal).
That would be Polyglot, see my signature. :)
You'll need to register with a github login for the time being. Once
you have, I or KapiX can assign the permissions for Turkish to you.
