That recall to my mind some phrase read here in past weeks relating
trustworthy people. The problem is not who abuse with power, but who
gave all that power.

"Abuse of power" -- please let's not blow things out of proportion. The Haiku project is organized as a meritocracy. People who contribute gain trust and privileges. They are supposed to (and do) use these privileges for the good of the project. However, mistakes and bad calls of judgment are made from time to time and can usually be corrected easily. No need to call for torches and pitchforks.

Please also keep in mind that many of the technical and social processes and contracts have not been written down anywhere. So things that have been done a certain way for a decade might not at all be obvious to more recently joined contributors. Let's just point those out and keep things civil.

We have sanctioned "repeat offenders" very reluctantly in the past and I think that worked well enough. I don't believe we have much to gain by changing that strategy.
