IMHO a notification system is a must. One situation when you definitely need

I agree.... Andrea Anzani has got InfoPopper running and the source is going
to be published by him on OsDrawer, but it would be absolutely better if it
was part of Haiku.
It's something that is standard on (almost) every system.
